Nina Simone - Live in France - 1969
A great overall live performance but I highly suggest going to the 18:20 mark and listening to tell you "You don't know what it's like to love somebody the way that I love you". Beautiful. Nina was always all about madchange, it's just too bad people didn't change more in her day.

The Skatalites - Rock Fort Rock
Arguably The Skatalites best track/composition of all time. It's a masterpiece all the way through. They just don't make music like this anymore. Respect to the originators. There are a couple of classic jazz tunes that they quickly cover/incorporate through occasional riffs in their solos but the whole track is an original overall. Amazing how much Reggae played off of American music in the early days. Borrowed the best ideas and created their own originals alongside and with the influences from America. #tommymccook #skatalites #dub #dubreggae #jazzyreggae #soulfulreggae
